Our Spring Hornsby Launch

We are very excited, and busy, this week. On the first of September a long awaited project comes to fruition. We are launching our Welcome Basket service to the wonderful new residents and businesses of the Hornsby Shire Council area. Connecting new residents with recommended businesses and services helps to integrate our newest members of our community, and supports our local businesses. Its a win-win plan.

New residents in the Hornsby Shire Council area will be able to register for delivery of a basket from a form on our website or via a link from Hornsby Council’s webpage. Our Welcome Baskets are full of information, gifts and vouchers from participating businesses and some information from charities we support.

We will see you around Hornsby from next month as we get to know all the streets and hidden gem businesses on our delivery rounds.

Remarkable Marketing

I went to a seminar recently where we were asked to define the word remarkable. It turned out to be “worth talking about”. In a cluttered market space, where people are inundated in both print and digital media, how do you stand out from the crowd? Like a bespoke pair of shoes, Welcome Basket has that old school touch, the person to person contact and the friendly verbal recommendation.

We deliver a basket of information, gifts and vouchers to new residents in the area. Beautifully wrapped and hand delivered, and free to the new resident, it is a cherished gift. One that will not simply be chucked out with the junk mail. Local small businesses have the opportunity to offer a gift or voucher to incentivise the new resident to try their service. Combined with the verbal endorsement from Welcome Basket, it will bring new clients through your door.
